The Rotary Club of Belconnen donated $9,600 to support Women's refuges across Canberra this financial year.
Beryl Women Inc, Doris Womens Refuge, and Karinya House each received $1,600 as part of the 50th year TNT anniversary celebrations.
We donated a further $2,300 to Karinya house as part of the Mother's Day raffle. Thanks to Mary for all her work with the raffle
We also donated $2,500 to Toora Women after hearing the incredible work they are doing at a May Club meeting.
Canberra's women refuges are often at capacity and provide incredibly important services to people who are most in need.
Thanks to all our members who volunteer their time to raise funds that can go towards projects such as this.
